Description
A teleprompter in a side panel, beside your call. Follows your voice, on your device. Free, no time caps. Miracue puts a teleprompter in Chrome's side panel, so your script sits beside your call instead of covering it. Paste what you are about to say, press Read, and the words scroll at a speed you set. Turn the microphone on and it follows your voice instead. Speech recognition runs on your own machine and moves the script at the pace you actually speak, so you can pause, ad-lib or go back a line without touching anything. WHAT IT DOES · Reads in the side panel, beside whatever tab you are working in · Follows your voice, or scrolls at a fixed speed you control · Text size, line spacing and margins you can set · Keeps your recent scripts on this computer · Signs in to miracue.app if you want the scripts already in your library there WHAT IT DOES NOT DO · It does not need an account to read. Nothing is metered and there is no trial clock. · It does not send your audio anywhere. Recognition happens in the browser, on your machine. · It does not watermark anything or interrupt you to upgrade. WHERE YOUR SCRIPT GOES Anything you paste into the panel is stored in your browser, on this computer. If you sign in with a miracue.app account, the panel can also open the scripts already in that account. Nothing else leaves your machine. The first time you switch the microphone on, the panel downloads the speech model it needs, which is about 63 MB. That happens once, and after it the voice following works with no network at all. Miracue is made by Lumira Studio, a video production company in the UK. We first built it for our own filming days.
