Turn any HTML table into a row-by-row record view: click a row for details, pick fields, prettify JSON, navigate with arrows. Table Lens turns hard-to-read web tables into a clean, browsable, one-record-at-a-time detail view. It's built for query results and data tables that have too many columns, contain JSON strings, or force you to scroll sideways just to read a single row. Why you'll want it Wide tables are painful: you lose track of which column you're reading, JSON cells are squashed into unreadable blobs, and comparing a single record means constant horizontal scrolling. Table Lens fixes this by lifting the current row into a tidy vertical "field : value" card you can flip through like records in a database. Key features • Floating side drawer — slides in from the right and overlays the page without pushing or reflowing it. Width is adjustable by dragging and is remembered. • Zero-effort table picking — candidate tables on the page are outlined automatically; click one to load it. If there's only one table, it loads instantly. • Record detail view — the current row is laid out vertically as "field : value", easy to scan. • Automatic JSON prettifying — cells containing JSON render as an expandable tree with one-click copy of the original text. • Images & links — image cells become clickable thumbnails and links keep their URLs, so non-text content is no longer lost. • Selectable fields — show only the columns you care about; your choice is remembered per site and table structure. • Keyboard navigation — hover the drawer and use ↑ / ↓ to move between records. • In-page linking — click a row on the page and the drawer jumps to that record and highlights it. • API data detection — for query tools that render results in a <canvas> (where cells aren't in the DOM), Table Lens can recognize the table data returned by the page's own requests and load it automatically.
