Run DNS and email checks for the website you are viewing. WebShanks Site Inspector puts practical DNS, email, security, server and domain diagnostics within reach of the website you are viewing. Open the extension to detect the current domain, then run supported DNS checks directly in the browser or open the matching WebShanks diagnostic with the domain already filled in. The extension extracts only the hostname from the active tab after user interaction. Inline DNS requests use encrypted DNS-over-HTTPS. Favorites, recent domains and cached DNS results remain in local browser storage. The extension does not read page content, cookies, passwords or complete browsing history. Some advanced checks require capabilities unavailable to browser extensions. Those checks open the corresponding WebShanks page only after the user selects the tool.
