Description
Capture full pages, selected areas, or the visible viewport, then edit, copy, or save locally. Screenshot Engine runs entirely inside your own browser. There's no account to create, no sign-in, no cloud upload, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. Every screenshot, every edit, and every setting is stored locally on your device — nowhere else. Your screenshots never leave your computer. All of this is completely free, with no premium tier, no watermarks, no usage limits, and nothing locked behind a paywall. Install it and everything above is available immediately — no signup, no trial, no catch. A gift for everyone from a fellow QA Analyst. This isn't just a policy promise: the extension's code is built so it cannot make outbound network requests at all, so there's simply nowhere for your data to go even if it tried. If you've ever hesitated to install a screenshot tool because you didn't know where your captures were ending up, this is built specifically to remove that worry. Capture exactly what you need: • Full page — Screenshot of an entire page top to bottom (and side to side), including pages that scroll inside their own app panel rather than the browser window. • Area selection — Drag over just the part of the page you want. • Visible area — Grabs exactly what's on screen right now, instantly. Built-in Editor (Free): Draw rectangles, circles, and arrows, add text labels, and blur or redact anything sensitive before you share it. Undo and redo freely, or discard everything with one click to start over from the raw screenshot. Customization Options: Choose a default capture mode, pick PNG, JPEG, or WebP output, and save straight into any folder on your computer with no download prompt — or keep using your regular Downloads folder if you prefer. Keyboard shortcuts are available for every capture mode.
