Read web pages in RayLingo as PDF or text, translate words, and learn a language with content that interests you. RayLingo helps you learn foreign languages through articles and other material that interests you. Open a web page and send it to RayLingo to read with translation support, listen to pronunciation, and practise unfamiliar words in the context of what you read. Choose the reading format that suits you: • As PDF — create a PDF version of the web page and open it in RayLingo. • As text — transfer the page's text into a format for reading. • As text with images — read the material with its illustrations. You can also send a PDF document you are viewing in your browser to RayLingo. To get started, click the RayLingo icon on the Chrome toolbar or right-click the page and choose a command from the “RayLingo Web Reader” menu. The material will open in a new RayLingo tab, while the original page stays open. There is no need to save the file manually and then upload it to the app. While reading in RayLingo, you can: • Click unfamiliar words and select phrases to get translations. • View explanations of word meanings in context. • Listen to words, phrases, and text read aloud. • Practise new words using examples from the material you have read. You can start reading straight away or prepare first: RayLingo identifies frequently occurring words and lets you choose unfamiliar ones to practise. This helps you spend less time pausing for translations and understand the text better. The extension's interface is available in English, German, Spanish, Russian and Turkish. The language is selected automatically based on your browser settings; you can also choose it manually in the extension's settings. The extension works with the RayLingo web app. You need to sign in to use translation. RayLingo offers limited free usage and a paid subscription.
