While enabled, the words you search are kept out of your history. Search Hide keeps the keywords you search from being listed in your search history. While the extension is on, it deletes that history right after you search, so your keywords are never listed. ■ Supported sites - Google - YouTube - X (Twitter) - Threads - Reddit ■ Please note - It does not work on any site other than those listed above. - Once search history has been deleted, it cannot be restored, even if you turn the extension off. - A keyword may stay in your history briefly, for example if you switch tabs right after searching. It goes away when you reopen or reload the page. - The main search box on each supported site is covered, but some smaller search boxes may not be. - A supported site may change how it works, which can temporarily stop this from working. - This extension is designed to keep your searches from appearing as suggestions in search boxes. It does not guarantee removal from every history feature a service offers, such as activity logs. - Supported sites may change without notice.
