Remove YouTube Shorts entry points and redirect recognized Shorts pages to a local block screen. Arivuno removes YouTube Shorts entry points and redirects recognized Shorts pages to a local block screen. Use YouTube without the short-form feed: - Hide Shorts shelves, cards, navigation links, and channel tabs. - Interrupt direct and in-page navigation to YouTube Shorts. - Go back from the local interruption page, with YouTube Home as the fallback when no previous browser-history entry is available. - Open one selected clip in YouTube's regular player without opening the Shorts feed. After installation, Arivuno stays off until the user reviews the in-extension disclosure and chooses Enable Arivuno. Closing the disclosure or choosing Not now leaves it off. Before activation, Arivuno does not inspect or change YouTube pages. Open Arivuno from the browser toolbar to manage or disable it at any time. To provide these features, Arivuno locally processes the current YouTube URL, YouTube link destinations, visible page structure, and ordinary click or activation events on YouTube pages. It uses click or activation events only to determine whether the activated element is a Shorts link, and uses all of this data only to identify and block Shorts entry points and pages. Arivuno does not retain or automatically transmit this locally processed data. If the user deliberately chooses Watch once, Arivuno navigates to YouTube's regular player with the selected validated video identifier; YouTube's terms and privacy policy apply there. The Storage permission remembers only the local activation choice. The Scripting permission registers or removes Arivuno's packaged script and stylesheet after that choice. Site access is limited to YouTube. The background service worker only opens the manage page and coordinates that local activation and registration; it does not inspect tabs or make network requests. Arivuno has no Arivuno account, analytics, telemetry, advertising, backend, or remote configuration. The extension does not request access to other sites. Arivuno is an independent extension and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by YouTube or Google.
