Description
Save reference images from any webpage in one click. A companion tool for RenderAI.app and any AI rendering multi-image tool. Render AI for Chrome — From Any Screen to AI Rendering in Seconds. The browser companion for RenderAI. Whether you are working inside a BIM viewer, reviewing a design in an online tool, or browsing for inspiration — this extension captures exactly what you need and gets it ready for AI rendering. TWO WAYS TO USE IT 1) EXPORT FROM BIM & ONLINE DESIGN TOOLS If you work with browser-based architecture and design software, this is the fastest way to bring your models into Render AI. Open your project in any online tool — Autodesk BIM 360, Speckle, Forma, SketchUp for Web, or other browser-based viewer — set your view, click the extension, and drag to capture exactly the area of the screen you want to render. No export dialogs, no file conversion. The captured view goes straight to your Downloads folder, ready to upload to Render AI. This is especially useful for: • Exporting a 3D model view or floor plan from BIM 360 to produce a photorealistic render • Capturing a Speckle or Forma model at the right angle for client presentation • Grabbing a SketchUp Web viewport to explore different render styles • Exporting any browser-based design view without leaving your workflow 2) SAVE REFERENCE IMAGES FROM ANYWHERE Building a mood board or looking for the right visual reference? The extension also works as a precision image saver on any website. • Click any image on the page to download it — hover highlights images so you always grab exactly what you want. • Drag to select any area of the screen for a pixel-perfect crop — ideal when the detail you need is part of a larger photo, a layout, or a rendered scene. • Right-click any image and choose "Download for RenderAI" to save it in a single step without opening the popup. HOW TO CAPTURE 1. Navigate to any page or open your project in a browser-based design tool. 2. Click the Render AI for Chrome icon in your toolbar. 3. Click "Download Reference Image". 4. An interactive overlay appears — click an image to grab it, or drag to crop any area of the screen. WHY PRECISION MATTERS What you give the AI shapes what you get back. A cropped facade detail renders differently than a full street scene. A model view at the right angle produces a more useful result than a generic screenshot. With area selection, you control the exact frame — no manual cropping after the fact. WORKS WITH BIM & Design Tools: Instead of downloading mutiple plugins, use Render AI for Chrome extension to capture views from design viewers like Autodesk BIM 360, Autodesk Forma, Speckle, SketchUp for Web, and any other browser-based viewer. Inspiration & Reference: Popular inspiration and portfolio sites. PERFECT FOR • Architects exporting BIM model views for AI rendering and client presentations • Interior designers saving mood board images from reference websites • Professionals gathering lighting and composition references from Archdaily or Dezeen • Students capturing online model views for studio projects and design explorations WHY RENDER AI Render AI (RenderAI.app) is an AI rendering platform built specifically for architecture, interior design, product design, and more.
