Copy a Reddit comment link that opens with its parent conversation visible. Thread Context Link copies a clean Reddit comment permalink that asks Reddit to show the parent conversation around that comment. Use it when a deeply nested reply makes little sense by itself, while opening the full discussion would force the recipient to search through hundreds or thousands of comments. How it works: 1. Open a Reddit discussion in Chrome. 2. Click the Thread Context Link toolbar icon. 3. Choose the comment you want to share. 4. Paste the copied link wherever you need it. The copied URL uses Reddit's native context parameter. The recipient opens an ordinary Reddit page—no extension-specific viewer, account, or redirect service is required. Privacy and scope: - Runs only after you click the toolbar icon in an active HTTPS Reddit tab. - Reads only the selected comment's existing permalink or identifier. - Constructs the context link locally and writes it to the clipboard after your explicit comment selection. - No persistent Reddit access, network requests, storage, analytics, accounts, advertising, or remote code. - Refuses non-Reddit pages and lookalike domains. Thread Context Link does one narrow job: make a shared Reddit comment understandable without sharing the entire discussion.
