Carrd Auto-Save is a lightweight, secure browser extension built specifically for Carrd power users and web creators. It automatically saves your active Carrd Builder projects at customizable intervals, ensuring you never lose a single layout change, text tweak, or design iteration again. By triggering the native save keyboard shortcut (Cmd+S or Ctrl+S) directly within your active workspace canvas, Carrd Auto-Save acts as a reliable background assistant while you focus entirely on building beautiful sites. NOT officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by Carrd.com or Carrd Inc. Key Features: * Customizable Time Intervals: Set your saving schedule to match your workflow—choose from every 1, 3, 5, 10, or 15 minutes directly from the extension popup. * Dynamic Status Tracking: A clean, color-coded toolbar badge displays the current state of your workspace instantly: - Active (Green): Auto-save is running on your live Carrd editor. - Paused (Amber): Auto-save is temporarily switched off. - Inactive (Red): Safe mode is engaged because you are not currently inside a Carrd editor tab. * Performance & Resource Optimized: Built with Chrome Alarms and a Manifest V3 background service worker, the extension remains completely idle when not in use. It consumes zero background memory and has no impact on system performance. * Complete Privacy: Carrd Auto-Save runs entirely locally within your browser. It does not track, collect, or transmit any user data, credentials, or web history. How to Use: 1. Click "Add to Chrome" to install Carrd Auto-Save directly from the Chrome Web Store. 2. For quick access, pin the extension to your toolbar by clicking the puzzle-piece icon (Extensions) in the top-right corner of Chrome and clicking the Pin icon next to Carrd Auto-Save. 3. Open or refresh an active Carrd project builder page (the URL will match https://carrd.com/dashboard/*/build). 4. Click the Carrd Auto-Save icon in your extension toolbar to set your desired time interval. 5. Toggle "Enable Auto-Save" on. 6. Watch your status badge turn green (ACTIVE). You are now safe from lost progress! Note: After installing the extension for the first time, please refresh any already-open Carrd builder tabs to initialize the auto-save script.
