Check in once, and it counts your working hours by itself. Stops after 15 quiet minutes or when you leave the work programs. For employees of Dr. Bryant Medical Practice and MedSpa only. You need a six digit code from the practice to use it. Press Check in when you sit down at the start of your day, and Check out when you leave. In between there is nothing to press. The extension counts the time you are actually working and stops on its own when you are not. WHAT IT DOES Counts your working time while the computer is in use. Stops after fifteen quiet minutes, and tells you on screen when it did. Stops when the tab in front of you is not one of the practice's work programs. Starts again as soon as you come back. Shows you your own hours for today and for the week, any time you click the icon. WHAT IT NEVER DOES No screenshots, ever. No camera, no microphone, no photographs. No record of what you type or what you click. Nothing is ever read out of a patient record. It does not read the address of any page. For the practice's two work programs it answers one question, yes or no: is that what is in front of you right now. For everything else it is not permitted to look at all. WHAT IT SENDS Once a minute, to the practice's own server and nowhere else: whether the computer is in use, idle or locked, the time of the last key or click, a yes or no for whether the front tab is a work program, and a count of moves between pages inside those programs. Nothing else leaves the machine. Only time between a check in and a check out is counted as work. You are told all of this before you agree to anything, and you have to tick a box to start.
