A visual tab-automation patchboard for small local browser rules built from trigger, condition, and action modules. Pulse Relay is a visual tab-automation patchboard built around deliberately small circuits: one trigger, one condition and one action. Choose an event such as Tab Activated, Tab Created, URL Changed, Title Changed or Inactive; filter it with a local metadata condition; then route it to a tab action such as pin, unpin, mute, unmute, move to either edge of its pinned/unpinned tab section, or notify. The Studio behaves like a compact hardware bench rather than a form-heavy automation dashboard. Modules can be clicked or dragged into the three bays, Test Pulse runs the draft against a selectable normal browser tab (with the most recently accessed tab used as the default), and committed circuits are stored as local cartridges that can be disabled, reloaded or deleted. Pulse Relay evaluates only browser tab metadata exposed by Chrome. It does not inject scripts into webpages, read page DOM content, collect form data, or request host permissions. Rules execute in the local Manifest V3 service worker. A once-per-minute local alarm supports Inactive rules, and execution safeguards prevent repeated firing within one idle cycle and serialize browser events to reduce state races.
