Moat Finance - Retail Sync is the companion Chrome extension for Moat Finance. It imports the item-level details from your Amazon orders — names, quantities, and prices — so those vague bank charges become real purchases you can budget, categorize, and actually understand. WHAT IT DOES • Imports Amazon order and item details into your Moat Finance account • Matches imported items to existing Amazon bank transactions • Lets you start a sync from the extension or from the Moat Finance transactions page • Requests Amazon access only when you connect Amazon — not on install HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension and sign in with your Moat Finance account 2. Connect Amazon and grant permission when Chrome asks 3. Stay signed in to Amazon in Chrome (the extension never asks for your Amazon password) 4. Click Sync — or tap Run sync in Moat when Amazon charges are detected 5. Review the item details in Moat Finance Sync only runs when you ask for it. There is no silent background scraping, no scheduled crawling, and no Amazon login stored in the extension.
