Highlight to translate, read it aloud, transcribe speech and type by voice — all on your KiriTTS account. Kiri Voice & Translate puts KiriTTS on every page you read and write. Highlight a sentence to translate it, hear it in a natural voice, dictate into any text field, or transcribe what you record — with Khmer treated as a first-class language, not an afterthought. You need a KiriTTS account with API access. Paste your API key once; translation, speech and transcription bill credits on that account, and nothing else is required. HIGHLIGHT TO TRANSLATE Select text on any page and a small button appears. Click it (or press Alt+T) and a card opens with the translation, the language it detected, and the original beside it. If the page is already in your target language, it translates the other way. Swap direction, copy the result, or show a Latin-script pronunciation for Khmer. READ IT ALOUD Play the translation or the original in any KiriTTS voice on your account, including voices you have cloned. Speech streams in about a second. A small player sits in the corner of the page so you can stop it at any time, even after the card is gone. Alt+R reads a selection without opening the card. TYPE WITH YOUR VOICE Click into a text field, textarea or rich-text editor and a microphone appears. Press it and speak: each phrase lands at your cursor as it settles, in Khmer, English or the other supported languages. Works in comment boxes, forms, email and web editors. TRANSCRIBE Open the side panel to record from your microphone, drop in an audio file, or stream live and watch words appear as you speak. Transcripts come back with timings, can be translated or read aloud, and export to SRT. TRANSLATE BOX The toolbar popup is a translate box with whatever you had selected already filled in. Pick the languages, translate, read the result aloud or copy it. LANGUAGES Translate between Khmer, English, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Indonesian, Malay, Filipino, Dutch and Turkish. Transcribe Khmer, English, and more. PRIVACY Text you highlight or type, and audio you record, are sent to api.kiritts.com to provide the feature you asked for, and nowhere else. Your API key is stored in Chrome sync storage and is only ever sent to KiriTTS. The microphone is used only while you are recording, streaming or dictating, and a live session that hears nothing for 30 seconds ends on its own. Turn the extension off on any site from Settings.
