Summarize YouTube videos in Gemini with one click. Summarize YouTube videos and Shorts with Gemini — adds a button, opens Gemini, fills a prompt, optional auto-send. Detailed description: YouTube → Gemini Summary adds a “Summarize with Gemini” button to YouTube video and Shorts thumbnails/cards (optionally only on hover). Click it to open Gemini, generate a prompt using the video title/channel/URL, and optionally auto-submit the prompt. Requirements: You must be signed in to Gemini (gemini.google.com). If you’re signed out, the prompt will wait until you sign in. Features: Custom prompt template with {title}, {channel}, {url} Auto-send on/off + configurable send delay Option to always open Gemini in a new tab Hover-only mode Privacy: No external servers; uses only local browser storage.
