Re-enables copy, cut, paste, right-click, and text selection on pages that block them. Copy-Paste Unlock restores normal copy, cut, paste, right-click, and text-selection behavior on websites that disable it — a common annoyance on some banking portals, ID/OTP entry fields, "protected" articles, and other pages that block these actions in your browser. WHAT IT DOES • Prevents pages from blocking copy, cut, paste, and right-click • Restores text selection where it's been disabled via CSS • Removes inline "onpaste=return false" style blockers • Works on any site, in any frame PRIVACY-FIRST BY DEFAULT The extension is OFF by default. It does nothing until you click the toolbar icon and switch it on. Your choice is remembered across all tabs and sites, and you can switch it off again anytime — no account, no tracking, no data collection. WHY THIS EXISTS Some sites disable pasting or selecting text for reasons that don't hold up in everyday use — like blocking paste on a numeric field, so you have to retype long account numbers, reference codes, or passwords by hand. This extension removes that friction on your own browser. NOTE This changes how pages behave locally in your browser only. It doesn't bypass server-side validation, and won't help if a site rejects pasted values on submit rather than blocking the paste itself. PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED • storage — remembers whether you've turned the extension on or off • scripting / host permissions — needed to apply the unlock behavior on the page you're visiting, only when enabled • tabs — reloads your current tab when you toggle the extension so the change takes effect
