Arken Limit Monitor — Usage Meter for ChatGPT is an unofficial, open-source browser extension that keeps your available ChatGPT usage information visible while you work. It adds a compact, draggable usage widget directly to chatgpt.com so you can quickly see your available usage windows without repeatedly opening settings. Features include: 5-hour usage window with live reset countdown Weekly usage window and reset time Available usage resets and expiry dates, when provided by your account Optional credit balance information, when available Configurable usage threshold notifications Adjustable refresh interval Collapsible draggable mini-widget One-click local data deletion Privacy-first by design Arken Limit Monitor runs locally in your browser. There is no ArkenApps backend server, no analytics, no advertising and no telemetry. Monitoring starts only after your explicit consent. The extension temporarily uses a short-lived ChatGPT session access token in memory for approved read-only usage requests. The token is never stored, logged or sent to ArkenApps or any third party. The extension does not read or collect your ChatGPT conversations, prompts, responses, uploaded files or conversation history. Open source The source code is publicly available on GitHub so users can inspect how the extension works. Important: Usage information depends on what ChatGPT exposes for your account. These figures may relate to Codex or other usage shown by ChatGPT and are not necessarily ordinary ChatGPT conversation-message limits. ChatGPT's internal usage endpoints may change over time.
