Finds tables on the current page and exports them to CSV. Table to CSV exports any table on the page you are looking at to a CSV file, with one click. Open the extension on a page that has tables. It lists every table it finds, with the number of rows and columns in each, and gives you an Export button for each one. The file lands in your downloads folder, named after the page and the table. The CSV is written properly: Fields containing commas, quotes or line breaks are quoted and escaped to RFC 4180, so spreadsheets read them back correctly instead of splitting a row in the wrong place. The file starts with a UTF-8 byte order mark, so Excel opens accented characters, CJK text and emoji correctly instead of mangling them. Merged cells are expanded. A cell spanning three columns becomes three columns, so every row in the file has the same width. Header rows are kept as the first line of the file. Footnote markers and edit links, the kind Wikipedia puts inside table cells, are stripped out. Whitespace is collapsed. About permissions and privacy: This extension requests no host permissions for the pages you visit. It cannot read any page until you click its toolbar icon, and then only the tab you are looking at. It has no permission to run on any site in the background, and there is no list of sites it can access. It sends no browsing data anywhere. There is no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry, and no server belonging to this extension. Table contents are read in your browser, turned into a CSV file in your browser, and saved to your computer. Nothing about the pages you visit is transmitted. Pricing: Five exports per month are free. A subscription removes the limit: $4.99 a month, or $19.99 a year, which works out at about $1.67 a month. You can cancel at any time and keep unlimited exports until the end of the period you have paid for. Payment is handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe; this extension never sees or stores your card details.
