Everything runs locally in your browser. No account, no API key, no backend server your data never leaves your device. WHAT IT DOES Behavior Set a standing instruction - tone, format, level of detail and Contextly adds it to the front of every message automatically, so Claude or ChatGPT actually stays consistent through a long conversation. Toggle it on or off anytime. Files Every code snippet Claude or ChatGPT writes gets caught automatically filename guessed, organized by conversation, one tap to copy or download. No more scrolling back through a long chat hunting for a snippet from ten messages ago. Links Same idea for links. Every URL in a reply gets captured and listed, ready to open or copy. Memory - grouped per chat Jot down key facts you don't want forgotten. Memory is organized by conversation, and each chat's memory has a one-tap "Load into chat box" button that reinserts it as context whenever you need Claude or ChatGPT reminded. Sticky notes Small draggable notes that float directly on the page , jot something down without breaking your flow. Prompt templates + on-device improver A library of ready-made prompt templates across five categories (writing, coding, analysis, brainstorming, learning), plus an optional "Improve" step powered by Chrome's built-in on-device model , no API key, nothing sent anywhere. Export / Import Back up everything — behavior settings, files, links, memory, notes — as a single file, anytime. WORKS ON BOTH CLAUDE AND CHATGPT Automatically detects which site you're on and matches its look , terracotta for Claude, green for ChatGPT , with a manual switch if you ever need it. Each platform's data stays fully separate. PRIVACY Contextly has no backend and makes no network requests of its own. Everything is stored locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server, including ours , there is no "ours" to send it to.
