LiveVault saves anything worth keeping from the web — pages, selected text, links, images, screenshots, and quick notes — into one private vault that lives only in your browser. No account. No server. No sync to worry about. Every capture is written straight to this browser's own storage; nothing is ever uploaded anywhere. WHAT YOU CAN SAVE • The current page — one click from the toolbar, or Ctrl+Shift+L to save instantly without opening anything • Selected text — right-click a selection and choose "Save selection to LiveVault" • Links and images — right-click and save just that link or image, with the page it came from noted automatically • A screenshot of the visible tab • A plain note, with or without a page attached ORGANIZE AND FIND IT AGAIN Sort what you save into collections and tags, mark favorites, and search across every title, URL, note, and captured selection from the built-in vault dashboard. BUILT AROUND YOUR PRIVACY • Only 5 permissions, each doing exactly one job (full breakdown on the Permissions tab of this listing, and at livevault.live/security) • No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry of any kind • The extension only ever reads the tab you just acted on — clicked, right-clicked, or used the keyboard shortcut on — never tabs in the background • Export your entire vault as a JSON file anytime, and import it back in BE AWARE • Uninstalling the extension, or clearing this browser's site data, deletes your vault permanently. Export a backup first if that matters to you. • Browser-internal pages and the Chrome Web Store itself can't be captured — that's a Chrome restriction on every extension, not a LiveVault limitation. Notes still work everywhere. • Full-page screenshots aren't supported yet — only what's visible in the tab. • Search is plain text matching, not AI-powered.
