Open any of 400+ web developer tools instantly, and grab colors, fonts, SVGs and JSON from any page. Search every tool on codeshack.io from any tab, and read the page you are on so you can send what it finds straight to the tool that handles it. Press Ctrl+Shift+K, type two letters, press enter. TOOLS Over 400 of them, covering the jobs that come up every day: formatting and validating code, converting between formats, minifying, encoding and decoding, hashing, working with color, and compressing or converting images. - Search from the popup, or from the address bar: type cs, press tab - Ranked by the same algorithm the site's own search uses, so both agree on what "json f" means - Recent tools kept to hand, and starred favorites pinned to the top WHAT IT READS OFF A PAGE Open it on any website and it reports what that page is actually made of. - Colors, ranked by how often each appears, with the role each plays. Click a swatch to copy the hex - Fonts, with the weights they are really set in and how many elements use each - SVGs, deduplicated. A page carrying 443 raw icons collapses to the 40 that differ. Preview one, then lift its source out whole - Images, every img tag plus every CSS background, each showing its real size against the size it is displayed at, what it cost to download, and whether it is missing an alt, broken, or served far larger than it needs to be - Links, sorted into internal, external, on-page, mail and tel, flagging target=_blank without rel=noopener, nofollow, and http links on an https page - Page details: the meta tags, Open Graph and Twitter cards, heading and word counts, page weight, load timing, and the live response headers - A screenshot of the visible area, or of the whole page scrolled and stitched together IT OPENS THE TOOL WITH THE DATA ALREADY IN IT This is the part that saves the time. Pick anything it found and the right tool opens with the payload waiting in the box. - A PNG is offered the PNG compressor and the PNG converters, a JPEG the JPEG ones - Pick the palette and every hex is filled in when the color tool loads - Right-click a selection and it works out what the text is: broken JSON goes to JSON Repair rather than JSON Formatter, CSS to the formatter, a URL to the URL tools - No copying, no pasting, no saving a file to disk so you can upload it back THE PAGE AUDIT Graded rather than pass or fail, because one missing alt is not the same kind of thing as three duplicate ids. - Every issue carries the elements it found. Click one and it scrolls to it and outlines it on the page - Issues with a tool behind them open it already loaded: a long title goes to the title checker with the title in it, duplicate ids go to the HTML validator with the page's markup, a missing alt opens the image list filtered to the images that have none - Copy the whole report as markdown and paste it into a ticket PRIVACY No account, no sign in, no tracking, no analytics, no telemetry. It reads a page only at the moment you invoke it, through activeTab, and it holds no access to any website other than codeshack.io. There is no tabs permission and no all_urls, so it cannot see what you have open or where you have been. Reading your clipboard is optional and stays off until you turn it on. Nothing is uploaded. What you send to a tool is handed to that page inside your own browser, not to a server. Free, and there is nothing to buy.
