Automatically rename messy downloads into clean, searchable filenames. Smart Download Renamer helps you understand what a downloaded file is, where it came from, what it was named, and where Chrome saved it. When a download begins, the extension uses metadata already provided by Chrome to identify the source and document type, then suggests a clear filename using your selected template. After completion, the popup shows the final filename, original filename, source, file type, size, and saved folder. You can open a completed file or reveal it in its folder with one click.
