A Mac app + Chrome extension The Chrome extension is free to install. It requires the paid Dumbwaiter Mac app and cannot read your email without it. Dumbwaiter brings the login code to Chrome, so you can continue with your task. Fill the code. Open the link. • Fill email codes with one click. When the code appears beside the box in Chrome, click to fill it. No need to copy, paste, or remember the digits. • Sent a sign-in link instead? Open it from a Dumbwaiter alert. It also finds links to confirm your email or reset a password. • You choose when to continue. Dumbwaiter fills the code after you click. You still press the website’s sign-in button. Links open only when you choose them. Your email stays off our servers. Dumbwaiter reads recent email on your Mac to find login codes and links. Your email is not sent to a Dumbwaiter server or an AI service. You grant read-only access. The app cannot send, change, or delete your email. Buy a licence in the app, or enter your existing licence code. 2. Add this Chrome extension. 3. Connect Gmail or Outlook. Automatic checks are on by default. Chrome asks for HTTPS website access when you install or update the extension. You can turn Automatic mode off in the Dumbwaiter extension settings. Use the toolbar button or Command-Shift-U for a manual check. Automatic clipboard copying has a separate setting. Requires macOS 14 or later and Chrome 119 or later. Works with Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. Some email formats and app-only links are not supported. Chrome restricts extension access on protected browser and Web Store pages. Mail provider and workplace policies can also restrict access.
