Select JSON on any webpage or paste text directly into the side panel, then: • Format JSON into a readable, two-space-indented document. • Escape or unescape JSON text by exactly one layer. • Search and replace with literal, case-sensitive, whole-word, or regular-expression matching. • Edit with bracket matching, folding, automatic pair insertion, and inline JSON error diagnostics. • Compare two JSON documents side by side with synchronized scrolling and Git-style highlighting. • Normalize object key order before comparison while preserving meaningful array order. • Copy the current result with one click. JSON Sidecar is local-first. Your text is processed and cached only inside Chrome. It is never sent to the developer or any external server. There are no accounts, analytics, advertisements, trackers, or remote code.
