Read Urdu in proper Nastaliq fonts on any website — Jameel Noori, Mehr Nastaliq and more, with adjustable size and line height. Nastaliq Web changes how Urdu/Farsi/Arabic text looks on the web. Most websites either serve Urdu in a flat, hard-to-read font, or don't style Urdu text at all -- especially on sites not built with Urdu readers in mind, or on Linux where the system's default Urdu fonts are often poor. Nastaliq Web scans every page you visit for Urdu text and automatically re-renders it in a proper Nastaliq typeface, so it actually looks like Urdu is supposed to look. HOW IT WORKS Nastaliq Web detects Urdu by its actual Unicode characters, not by page markup, so it works even on sites that don't bother marking Urdu content as Urdu. If a sentence mixes Urdu and English in the same paragraph, only the Urdu portion gets restyled -- the English text keeps its original font. The extension also watches for new content added to the page after it loads (infinite scroll, chat apps, dynamically loaded posts) and keeps applying the font as you browse, no refresh needed.
