Description
Hides browsing history for specified sites and provides a private log. **Stealth Browsing Assistant** is a Chrome extension designed to enhance your online privacy. It allows you to visit specific websites without leaving traces in your regular browser history. The extension also attempts to reduce (but may not completely eliminate) address bar suggestions for these sites. All activity for these designated sites is instead recorded in a separate, private log that only you can access within the extension. **Core Features:** * **Ignore List Management:** Easily add or remove websites (domains) to your personal "ignore list" through the extension's settings page. * **Automatic History Filtering:** Once a site is on your ignore list, visits to it will not appear in Chrome's standard history. * **Reduced Address Bar Suggestions:** The extension actively works to minimize address bar suggestions for ignored sites, though due to Chrome's internal caching mechanisms, some suggestions may still appear occasionally. * **Private Browsing Log:** Access a dedicated log within the extension that records your visits to ignored sites, including the URL, page title, and timestamp. * **Quick Toggle via Popup:** Use the extension's popup to quickly see if the current website is on your ignore list and add or remove it with a single click. * **Multi-language Support:** The interface is available in English and Simplified Chinese. **Why Use Stealth Browsing Assistant?** Whether you're researching sensitive topics, managing accounts on shared devices, or simply prefer to keep certain browsing activities private, Stealth Browsing Assistant offers a straightforward solution to maintain your confidentiality without needing to constantly switch to incognito mode for specific sites. **Note on Address Bar Suggestions:** Due to Chrome's internal mechanisms, address bar suggestions might still occasionally appear for ignored sites, especially after frequent visits. The extension employs multiple strategies to minimize this, including periodic cleaning of history entries related to ignored domains.
