Clean copied ChatGPT text by removing visible markdown emphasis symbols while keeping readable structure. Copy an answer out of ChatGPT, paste it into an email, and the asterisks come along for the ride. Format Cleaner takes them out. Paste your text into the Input box. The extension strips the asterisk emphasis markers, drops the hash symbols in front of headings, and turns raw list markers into clean bullet points. Your paragraph breaks, indentation, numbered lists, and line order stay exactly as they were.
