Description
See what time it is anywhere - instantly. Add cities, track offsets, and keep your world clock visible on every page. World Clock shows you what time it is in the cities you actually care about - without the math, and without leaving your browser. Add any city to your watchlist and see its current time, how many hours ahead or behind it is from you, and whether it's a different day entirely. Everything is labelled in plain language: Berlin, Germany - not Europe/Berlin. ---------------------------------------- Release Notes: 2.0.1 - Fixed extension description that wasn't displaying correctly - Added a quick feedback survey when uninstalling (helps us improve) - Smarter review prompt timing - Internal cleanup and stability improvements ---------------------------------------- WHAT IT DOES Your local time is always pinned at the top as your reference point. Every city you add shows: - Current time (12h or 24h - your choice) - UTC offset - How many hours ahead or behind you they are - A "tomorrow" or "yesterday" badge when the date crosses midnight The search modal starts with suggested cities so you can get set up in seconds. Type any city name to find it - no IANA identifiers, no scrolling through an alphabetical list of 400 timezones. ---------------------------------------- THE TOOLBAR Enable the floating toolbar and your world clock stays visible on every webpage - sitting quietly in the corner, showing flags, times, and offsets at a glance. It doesn't shift your page layout or cover your content. Choose which corner it lives in from Settings. ---------------------------------------- BUILT FOR - Remote workers coordinating across timezones daily - Global teams scheduling meetings without timezone confusion - Freelancers working with international clients - Anyone who's ever done timezone math in their head and gotten it wrong ---------------------------------------- SETTINGS - 12h or 24h time format - Toolbar on/off - Toolbar corner position (top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right) ---------------------------------------- PRIVACY No data collected. No accounts. No tracking. Everything stays on your device. ---------------------------------------- SUPPORT Questions or feedback? Copy our support email from the Settings panel inside the extension. ## Why This Works Three things make this description convert better than the current one: Leads with the problem, not the product. The first sentence is about what the user needs, not what the extension is. Users scanning search results are looking to see themselves in the description - "without the math" lands immediately for the remote worker who's been doing timezone arithmetic in their head. Specific over generic. "Berlin, Germany - not Europe/Berlin" is a concrete, specific claim that signals this product is thoughtfully built. Generic descriptions say "intuitive interface" - specific descriptions show you understand the user's actual frustration. Honest feature list. Every feature listed is real and shipped. No "blazing-fast performance," no "seamless experience." Just what it does, plainly stated. Users who've been burned by overpromising extensions will trust this more. # Changelog ## 2.0.0 - Redesigned the popup with clearer clock cards, human-friendly city and country labels, flags, and a fixed YOUR TIME anchor panel. - Added smarter timezone search with suggested cities, keyboard navigation, cleaner single-line results, and faster add flow. - Introduced a dedicated Settings view with toolbar controls, time format options, support copy action, and version display. - Rebuilt the webpage toolbar as a floating corner pill with city + relative offset display, corner pinning, and collapsible state persistence. - Added robust timezone data generation and alias normalization to keep popup and toolbar labels and offsets consistent. - Added an improved illustrated empty state and a review prompt flow with install-age gating, usage gating, cooldown, and impression cap.
