Lets Matter agents work in new or existing tabs using your Chrome profile. Let your Matter agents work in Chrome using your existing browser sessions. Matter Browser Control connects Chrome to the Matter desktop app. Ask an agent to research a topic, read a page, compare information, or carry out a browser task. It can open new tabs or work in existing tabs without making you sign in to every website again. • Keep your browser work visible. Each Matter thread gets a labeled tab group. • Work in the background. Tabs stay in the background unless the agent explicitly brings one forward. • Keep your existing sessions. Agents use the Chrome profile you connect. • Stay in control. Stop the agent in Matter, turn off Browser Use, or disable the extension in Chrome. Requires the Matter desktop app, available at https://matter.work, and a configured AI provider. The extension does not provide an AI account or subscription. Browser access and privacy When connected, Matter can see the titles and URLs of open tabs. In controlled tabs it can read website content, take screenshots, and interact with pages using your signed-in accounts. Depending on the websites and actions you request, this can include personal information, messages, form entries, authentication information, financial or health information, and browsing activity. The extension connects to the Matter app on your computer. Browser information can become part of your Matter conversation, be stored with that conversation, and be sent to your selected AI provider to carry out your request. People with access to that conversation may see it. The extension explains this access and asks you to connect before the first session.
