Save and recover text drafts in supported website fields. Private local storage, search and site exclusions. UNDO helps you recover text after a page refresh, a closed tab or an interrupted form — when a recovery copy has already been saved. Write in supported website fields, then find your saved draft in UNDO and restore it or copy it back into the page. Your drafts stay in your browser profile. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Automatically save recovery copies after you enable protection. • Keep your 3 most recent drafts for free, with the latest saved text for each field. • Restore text in the original field or copy it from your draft history. • Search saved drafts and delete individual entries. • Pause saving for a website or turn protection off completely. • Choose a retention period of 1, 7 or 30 days. The default is 30 days; older drafts are removed automatically. • Delete all saved drafts whenever you choose. HOW TO USE UNDO 1. Install UNDO, read the local-storage notice and enable protection. 2. Refresh website tabs that were already open before installation. 3. Type in a supported text field and pause for about one second so UNDO can save a copy. 4. After a refresh or return to the same page, focus the original field and choose Restore. You can also press Alt + Shift + Z or open History to copy your text. LOCAL STORAGE AND PRIVACY UNDO stores draft text, the website origin and save times locally. It uses a hashed page address and field identifier to match a saved draft to its original field. Draft records are encrypted in this browser profile and are not sent to us. There is no cloud synchronization, account requirement or advertising in this release. Recognized password, payment and security fields are skipped. Detection is imperfect, so exclude sensitive websites and avoid entering secrets in ordinary text fields. LIMITS TO KNOW UNDO works in supported text inputs, text areas and editable text fields. Some complex editors and restricted browser pages are not supported. Incognito is not supported. If direct restoration is unavailable, a previously saved draft can still be copied from History. Only text saved while protection was enabled can be recovered. Newer drafts replace older entries when the 3-draft limit is reached. The total draft storage budget is 8 MB. Deleting drafts, removing the extension or deleting the browser profile can permanently remove your saved copies. FREE AND PRO The core draft recovery functionality remains available for free. UNDO Pro increases storage and version limits for users who need more recovery history.
