Here's a quick reference: 10–30% → Heavy compression · thumbnails only 31–50% → Visible artifacts · small file size 51–65% → Good for web · efficient 66–82% → Balanced · recommended for most uses 83–92% → High quality · minimal loss 93–100% → Near lossless · larger file size For most web images, 70–82% gives the best balance of quality and file size savings.
