Evergreen Notepad keeps a simple, fast notepad one click away in your browser's side panel — next to whatever you're reading, on every tab, without switching windows. Open it with the toolbar button or Alt+N, start typing, done. No account, no setup, no cloud. Built so you never lose a note • Autosave on every keystroke — plus the moment you switch tabs, click away, or close the panel. There is no Save button because you never need one. • History snapshots: as you edit, earlier versions of each note are kept automatically. Overwrote something by accident? Restore any snapshot — restoring also keeps what's on screen, so nothing is ever thrown away. • Trash, not gone: deleted notes are kept for 30 days and can be restored with one click. • Backup and restore: export all notes as a single JSON file, or a single note as Markdown. Import a backup anytime — it adds notes, never overwrites.
