Verify selected text, page links, and custom screenshots with VeriZone's source-backed misinformation analysis. VeriZone Companion makes it easier to verify suspicious claims, selected text, webpage URLs, and screenshots while browsing the web. Users can select text on a webpage, verify the current page URL, or capture a custom screenshot area and send it to VeriZone for source-backed misinformation analysis. The extension also supports a right-click “Check on VeriZone” option for selected text and a screenshot preview step before submission. VeriZone then opens the selected content in the correct verification section, where it can be analysed using evidence-based verdicts, trusted sources, confidence scores, and a detailed breakdown.
