Sidecar Capture — Copy Console Errors for AI

Description

Catches console errors in the background, so you can copy them for Claude or ChatGPT without opening DevTools. Sidecar Capture buffers JavaScript errors, warnings, unhandled promise rejections, and failed network requests per browser tab while you work — so you don't have to keep the DevTools console open and screenshot it. When something breaks, click the toolbar icon and hit "Copy for Claude". The extension produces a clean, formatted markdown block — errors grouped and deduplicated, network failures listed by path and status, plus a short tail of recent logs for context — ready to paste into an AI chat for debugging. Everything you capture is handled locally on your device. Nothing you capture is ever transmitted anywhere. Captured data lives only in your browser's memory, is organised per tab, and is discarded when you close the tab or click "Clear". Captured data leaves the extension only when you explicitly click the copy button, which places the text on your clipboard for you to paste wherever you choose. If a tab navigates to a different page, earlier entries are kept but tagged with the page they came from, so you can always tell which page an error belongs to. ON UNINSTALL If you remove the extension, Chrome opens a short feedback page. It receives the extension version, how many days it was installed, and whether you ever successfully copied a capture — no identifier, no account, and none of the content you captured.
