Save it with the bookmark next to the PR title. Your saved PRs are kept locally and available from Saved Reviews, so you can come back to them when you’re ready. Save a PR → Find it in Saved Reviews → Return to the PR → Start your review. Let your AI search the repository, follow references and gather evidence directly from the codebase. 🤖 Buddy AI Generate structured review Guides directly inside the extension and work through them without leaving GitHub using your preferred AI provider and model. 💬 Chat AI Generate a structured review Guide from any AI chat interface, such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. Paste the prompt into your preferred assistant, then use the generated Guide to review the pull request inside GitHub. Because a chat assistant cannot see your repository, you can attach the documentation it should know about — AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md, architecture notes — and PR Review Buddy remembers your choice per repository. DOCUMENT WHAT SHIPPED Turn a pull request into a plain-language inventory entry for your product documentation: what the change adds, how it behaves, what it constrains. The generated prompt carries the pull request’s complete diff, so the entry describes what was actually implemented rather than what the description claimed. If a pull request is too large to package whole, PR Review Buddy tells you instead of quietly leaving code out. COMING FROM AN EARLIER VERSION? The original one-click actions are still here, under Legacy Actions on the Review tab. They write the pull request description for you: copy the diff and an instruction to describe it, paste that into any AI, and get back a summary of the changes, the motivation behind them, the key changes made and how to test them. • Copy Prompt + Changes: the instruction and the full diff together, ready to paste • Copy Prompt: the instruction on its own • Copy Changes: the pull request’s raw diff on its own The prompt is editable, so descriptions come out in your team’s format rather than ours. Custom prompts saved in older versions are kept exactly as you left them. PRIVACY Your code stays under your control. • Processing happens locally in your browser. • No code is sent to PR Review Buddy servers. • Buddy AI only communicates with the AI provider you configure. • Repository AI and Chat AI never send code through PR Review Buddy. • Only the GitHub permissions required by the extension are requested.
