Pick any color from the Screen using the built-in eyedropper, and FilaFinder instantly searches a live database of 3,000+ filaments from real brands — returning the closest color matches ranked by Delta-E, the industry-standard color distance measurement. No more manual color-hunting across brand websites. KEY FEATURES • Color Picker — Use Chrome's native EyeDropper to sample any pixel on screen. • 3,000+ Live Filaments — Searches a real-time database sourced from filamentcolors.xyz, covering PLA, PLA+, ABS, PETG, and specialty materials from dozens of brands. • Delta-E Color Science — Matches are calculated using CIE LAB color space and Delta-E (ΔE), the same method used in professional color management. • Material Filters — Filter results by filament type: PLA, PLA+, ABS, PETG, or Special. • Offline Fallback — If the live database is unreachable, FilaFinder falls back to a built-in 100-filament local database so it always works. • Match Quality Indicators — Results are graded as Good (ΔE ≤ 5), OK (ΔE ≤ 15), or Fair (ΔE > 15). • Source Badge — Shows whether results are from the live database or offline cache. PRIVACY FilaFinder does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The only network request made is a color search query sent to the filament database API.
