Capture the visible page, a DOM element, or a drawn region, then annotate it. SnipDraw captures a screenshot straight from your browser and opens it in a web editor for annotation and sharing. Capture • Click the toolbar icon and hover to highlight any element, then click to grab exactly it. • Or press-and-drag to select a free region. • Right-click the icon to capture the whole visible page, optionally after a 3s or 5s delay so you can open menus first. Annotate • Arrows, lines, rectangles, ellipses, text, and highlights. • Permanent redaction that destroys the underlying pixels, not just a black box on top. • Pixel-exact crop and zoom. Annotations stay editable; download is a lossless PNG. Share • Each screenshot gets a clean share link with a view-only image. • Keep shots private by default and share individually. How it works SnipDraw connects to a SnipDraw server. Sign in on the web app, generate an API token under Settings, and paste it into the extension's Options page once. Your captures upload there for editing and sharing; the token is the only thing you ever enter into the extension. Privacy • No host permissions: SnipDraw only accesses a page when you click the toolbar icon. • The only data stored in the browser is your API token (locally). • Screenshots you capture are uploaded only to the SnipDraw server you authenticated with.
