Generate a Personal Access Token (PAT) on GitHub with `repo` scope (or fine-grained access to your bookmarks repo). 2.1 Make sure you select the repository where you are putting your history. You can select Public Repos, All Repos, or Only Selected Repos (which I recommend). For the permissions, I use: Read access to metadata Read and Write access to Contents (not codespaces) 3. Install the extension and open the Settings (⚙️). 4. Connect your account by entering your username, repo name, and token. 5. Choose a Profile Name and set your sync frequency. 6.
