This first artwork is called 'The Fragrant Harbour' by Hong Kong based artist Desmond Leung. At the Horizon Club guests enjoy an unparalleled level of hospitality and service, so to give you a small taste of our personal service, we have commissioned artists from five of our destinations to create a series of artworks inspired by the Horizon Club, with which you can personalise your digital devices. This artwork was inspired by the view from the Horizon Club at Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong, and captures the magic hour just before sunset. The artist himself states: "I tried to capture the moment of the magic hour of the harbour before sunset, when the glitter of the sea, the movement of the ferries, the skyscrapers, the streets and people, the mountains and the orange blue sky all melt together and shimmer in the golden sunlight. It’s like a symphony of colour, movement and rhythm, which all together create a warm, calm and tranquil energy that resonates at the heart of people.” By installing this artwork on your browser you will be able to experience for yourself the inspiration of the artist and beauty of this amazing city. For more information about this artwork, to download other versions for your digital devices, or to discover more about the Horizon Club itself go to www.shangri-la.com/corporate/horizon-club/
