UBIK Flow for Chrome is the browser companion for the UBIK Flow desktop app. It links Google Chrome to UBIK Flow running locally on your machine, so your AI assistant can work with the pages you already have open without copy-pasting URLs, selections, or page content into another window. WHAT THIS EXTENSION DOES • Connects to UBIK Flow on your computer over a local connection (127.0.0.1) • Shares context from your active tab (URL, title, selected text, and a short page excerpt) • Runs browser actions requested by UBIK Flow when you delegate work to your assistant • Highlights the tab briefly while an action is running, so you always know what is happening WHAT YOU NEED • UBIK Flow desktop app installed and running on your Mac or Windows PC • This Chrome extension installed and connected This extension does not work as a standalone product. It is designed to be used together with UBIK Flow on your computer. WHY UBIK FLOW ChatGPT and Claude in a browser tab cannot see what you are doing in Chrome or in Gmail, Slides, Sheets, Slack, Notion, and the rest of your desktop workflow. UBIK Flow sits beside you where you work. Your AI sees your screen, hears your voice, and connects to the tools you already use. This extension is the Chrome piece of that experience: your assistant stays aware of the tab you are on and can act in the browser when you ask. PRIVACY & SECURITY • The extension communicates only with UBIK Flow on your local machine • Page context is shared to support assistant features you trigger from the desktop app • You stay in control through UBIK Flow and your chosen AI provider settings PERMISSIONS This extension requests broad access to websites because UBIK Flow needs to read context and run actions on the pages you are working on similar to how a desktop automation assistant operates in your browser.
