Analyzes Google Maps reviews to detect suspicious reviewers Are the reviews you're reading trustworthy? Maps Review Checker analyzes any Google Maps location and helps you spot suspicious reviews so you can make smarter decisions about where to eat, shop, or visit. How it works: Click the extension icon on any Google Maps location page. The extension automatically loads all reviews, checks each reviewer's profile, and flags accounts with suspiciously few total reviews, a common pattern among untrustworthy or low-credibility reviewers. What you get: — Suspicious review percentage — A recalculated "real" star rating based only on trusted reviewers — Visual breakdown with charts (pie & bar) — Top 3 most trusted reviews highlighted Why it matters: Suspicious and low-credibility reviews are a widespread problem. Businesses with inflated ratings can mislead consumers every day. This tool gives you a clearer, more honest picture before you make a decision. Privacy first: Maps Review Checker runs entirely in your browser. No data is collected, stored, or sent anywhere. Your browsing stays private. How to use: Open any Google Maps location page Click the Maps Review Checker icon A new window opens and automatically analyzes all reviews View your results — real rating, suspicious review %, and top trusted reviews
