The extension detects subtitles on screen, translates them via Google Cloud Translate, and replaces them instantly. 3. Translations are cached — repeated lines aren't retranslated, keeping things fast and free. SETUP This extension uses your own Google Cloud API key. Click "How to get an API key" in the extension for a step-by-step guide. Google gives you 500,000 characters/month free — enough for ~16 full movies. PRIVACY No data collection. No accounts.
