Description
Connects the local AIVane desktop app to your browser for user-authorized automation and recording. AIVane Browser Bridge connects your installed AIVane desktop application to the Chrome profile you choose, so you can run authorized browser workflows and record your own browser actions. WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES - Connects Chrome to AIVane on the same computer. - Performs workflow-requested page navigation, element interaction, form filling, file-input selection, page inspection and screenshots. - Records browser actions only after you start recording. Pause, resume or finish from the extension popup. - Opens the installed Recorder when you request recording and it is not already running. DESKTOP APPLICATION REQUIRED This is a companion extension, not a standalone cloud automation service. Install a compatible AIVane desktop application on the same computer. Current preview availability and setup information: https://aivane.net/download/ The extension's local connection and recording do not require an AIVane cloud account. Optional AI features in the desktop application require your own model-provider configuration; separate provider charges may apply. DATA AND CONTROL The extension sends workflow and recording data to the authenticated local AIVane application through a loopback connection. Recording can include page content, URLs, screenshots and form values. Avoid recording passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. When you use desktop AI features, the desktop application may send relevant context to your chosen model provider; the extension itself does not contact that provider. Use AIVane only on websites and browser profiles you are authorized to access. Browser protections still apply; protected Chrome pages cannot be automated like ordinary websites.
