Control music across your YouTube, Spotify, and Gaana tabs. Sloth brings the media sessions running across your browser into one calm, consistent control surface. Play, pause, skip, go back, and change repeat mode without searching through open tabs. Sloth automatically detects active and paused media on supported services and keeps inactive pages out of the player list. Open **View all sessions** for a full-page dashboard where every active media session can be reviewed, controlled, or opened in its original tab. Key features: - Control YouTube, YouTube Music, Spotify, and Gaana from one extension. - Play, pause, move to the next or previous track, and manage repeat when the provider makes those controls available. - See accurate titles, provider labels, artwork, and playback controls. - Open the full sessions dashboard to manage all active players in one tab. - Jump directly from Sloth to the tab containing a media session. - Automatically reconnect supported tabs after extension updates or browser restarts. - Use a compact, modern interface designed to stay out of your way. Sloth does not require a Sloth account. Playback availability still depends on the supported media provider, the page being open, and any provider login or subscription requirements. ### Version 1.2.0 Sloth 1.2.0 delivers a redesigned experience and more reliable media-session control across supported tabs. What's new: - Reworked the popup with a modern, compact interface and clearer control states. - Added **View all sessions**, a full-page dashboard for reviewing and managing every active player. - Added a themed welcome page with onboarding and supported-provider guidance. - Added automatic supported-tab reconnection after installation, updates, browser startup, and extension reloads. - Added lightweight session health checks to keep open media tabs connected. - Improved playback-state synchronization after play, pause, navigation, popup reopening, and tab reloads. - Improved YouTube and YouTube Music detection, including paused watch pages. - Improved Spotify metadata, artwork, logged-out-state, and preview-page handling. - Updated Gaana detection for its current mini-player, including play, pause, previous, next, and repeat controls. - Hidden inactive or unavailable provider pages so only meaningful media sessions appear. - Added generic media artwork fallbacks when provider thumbnails are unavailable. - Added loading and recovery states that reduce disruptive manual tab reloads. - Added an uninstall feedback form to help guide future improvements. - Expanded automated coverage for content scripts, selectors, providers, popup state, command results, and DOM fixtures. Known behavior: - Available controls depend on what each provider exposes for the current page and media item. - A provider may require the user to sign in before playback commands can succeed.
