Capture AI conversations locally for ChatVaultAI. Visible-page capture with no cloud vault, telemetry, or hidden APIs. ChatVault Capture Helper is the browser companion for ChatVaultAI, a local-first Windows desktop vault for preserving AI work. From the toolbar, users can deliberately capture visible conversation or tool-workspace content from the active tab. Depending on the page and selected mode, the extension creates local ChatVaultAI-compatible files such as .chatvault.json, Markdown, local evidence packages, or a sanitized Page Archive. Main features: • User-initiated capture from the active tab • Structured output on supported conversation pages • Page Archive fallback for other compatible pages • Source metadata and user-selected capture labels • Session continuity for long conversations • A warning when visible-page limits may affect completeness The extension reads the selected page only after an explicit user action. It does not intercept network traffic, call hidden platform APIs, scrape in the background, upload conversation content, or use telemetry or analytics. Page Archives remove scripts, scrub account and privacy interface elements, and neutralize active external asset references for safer offline reopening. Visual fidelity is not guaranteed.
