Extract YouTube transcripts and copy or save them as TXT, Markdown, or SRT, including batch and playlist processing. Mono Transcript is a Chrome extension that lets you extract and save captions provided by YouTube as clean, readable text. Simply open a YouTube video and click the extension icon to view, copy, or download its captions. Key features: • View and copy YouTube captions • Export as TXT, Markdown, or SRT • Add timestamps to exported text • Process multiple video and playlist URLs in batches of up to 50 videos • Automatically remove duplicate URLs • Light and dark mode support Mono Transcript is useful for research, studying, meeting notes, content creation, and subtitle editing. This extension does not transcribe audio. It retrieves captions already available on YouTube. It may not work with videos that have no captions, private videos, or videos you do not have permission to view. Some features are currently available for free as part of the Mono Pro Preview.
