Declutter the sites you choose. Keep only the search box and results; hide feeds, ads, and recommendations. Bare turns the sites you choose into a clean, minimal view. Instead of blocking things one by one, you pick what to keep — usually just the search box on the home page, and the results list after you search — and everything else is hidden. How it works: Add a site, then click "pick the element to keep" and click the part(s) of the page you want to stay (e.g., the search bar) — you can select several at once. Everything else on that page type is hidden. Need to remove clutter inside what you kept (autocomplete dropdowns, embedded "recommended" widgets)? Use "pick the element to hide", or paste a CSS selector. Rules are saved per site and per page type (home vs. results), so each page stays exactly as clean as you want. Privacy & permissions: Bare runs only on the sites you explicitly add, and only after you grant permission for that site. It stores your rules locally in your browser. No account, no server, no network requests, no tracking, no ads. Note: This is a hands-on tool. You choose what to keep on each site by clicking elements, so it works best if you're comfortable pointing at the part of a page you care about.
