Get classic web results by default. AI stays available whenever you choose it. Classic Search brings back the simple search experience: a normal search returns a list of web pages and sources you can click. There is nothing to set up. Install the extension and search the way you always have — from the address bar, from the search box, or from a link you follow. Classic Search switches your standard searches to the classic web results view on its own. And AI is still there whenever you want it. If you deliberately open AI Mode, Images, Videos, News, Shopping, Maps, Books, Flights or Finance, Classic Search leaves your choice completely untouched. WHAT YOU GET • Classic web results as the default for ordinary searches • Works from the Chrome address bar, everywhere in the world, in every language • Nothing to configure: no popup, no settings, no account, no sign-in • AI Mode and every other search mode still one click away PRIVACY Classic Search does not collect, store, sell, share, or transmit any personal data or search queries. No tracking, no analytics, no cookies, no servers, no remote code. Everything happens locally, inside your browser. LIGHT BY DESIGN The extension is a short configuration file and no JavaScript at all. It relies on an official Chrome API to switch standard searches to the classic web results view. It never runs code on the pages you visit, never reads your results, and has no measurable effect on browser performance. Install it. Forget it. Classic Search is an independent extension and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google.
