It watches your temporary mailbox on emailfake.com and tells you the second something arrives — a badge on the icon, a desktop notification, and an optional sound. Close the site and get on with your work. WHAT IT DOES • Live alerts for new mail, even with every tab of the site closed. • Unread counter right on the toolbar icon. • One click to open the message. • Quick access to your recent mailboxes. • Optional notification sound, off by default. HOW IT WORKS Open emailfake.com once and pick or generate an address. The extension picks it up from the page and starts watching it. There is nothing to configure. WHAT IT CAN AND CANNOT SEE • It does not request access to your cookies, your browser tabs, or the pages you visit — so it cannot read them. • It sends one thing to emailfake.com: the mailbox address you are currently viewing, so the server can tell it when mail arrives for that address. • Your settings stay on your machine. • No account, no registration. GOOD TO KNOW • You need to open the site once so the extension knows which mailbox to watch. • Temporary mailboxes are public by design: anyone who knows the address can read them.
