Hide distracting YouTube content and learn what you find valuable—privately, on your device. Make YouTube calmer, more deliberate, and easier to use on your own terms. Value Filter locally reshapes the YouTube experience without changing your subscriptions, watch history, or YouTube account. Use coordinated modes or choose individual controls: • hide videos below or above a chosen length; • hide Shorts, Playables, sponsored cards, live streams, upcoming videos, and playlists; • apply rules independently to Home, Search, Subscriptions, and the watch sidebar; • replace attention-grabbing thumbnails with grayscale, subdued, or compact title-only layouts; • stop hover previews, hide comments, hide the watch sidebar, and remove suggestions shown over a finished video; • keep a preferred playback speed from 0.50× to 3.00×; and • temporarily reveal filtered videos whenever you want. Optional Personalized learning uses goals plus your “Valuable” and “Not for me” ratings to label, softly hide, or sort likely matches. It is straightforward, explainable keyword/channel evidence—not a remote AI model—and recent feedback gradually matters more as your interests change. Personalized learning is a one-time $7.99 in-app purchase. All ordinary filtering, appearance, and playback controls remain free. Privacy is part of the design. Video metadata is processed in the browser. Goals, ratings, and learned preferences remain in local extension storage. There is no advertising, developer analytics, Google OAuth, remote recommendation model, or sale of user data. Stripe handles optional payment; the license service receives only a random license ID and purchase state, never YouTube titles, channels, goals, ratings, or browsing activity.
